چکیده

Deptor is a protein that interacts with mTOR and belongs to the mTORC1 mTORC2 complexes. capable of inhibiting kinase activity mTOR. It well known pathway involved in various signaling pathways are biological processes such as cell growth, apoptosis, autophagy, ER stress response. Therefore, Deptor, being natural inhibitor mTOR, has become very important its study. Because this, it research role regarding development progression human malignancies, especially hematologic malignancies. Due variation expression cancer, been suggested can act an oncogene or tumor suppressor depending on cellular tissue context. This review discusses recent advances transcriptional post-transcriptional regulation Deptor. As activities hematological possible biomarker, clinical relevance these

Notch signaling: its roles and therapeutic potential in hematological malignancies

Notch is a highly conserved signaling system that allows neighboring cells to communicate, thereby controlling their differentiation, proliferation and apoptosis, with the outcome of its activation being highly dependent on signal strength and cell type. As such, there is growing evidence that disturbances in physiological Notch signaling contribute to cancer development and growth through vari...

Pleiotropic Roles of Metalloproteinases in Hematological Malignancies: an Update.

Controlled remodeling of the extracellular matrix (ECM) is essential for cell growth, invasion and metastasis. Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) are a family of secreted, zincdependent endopeptidases capable of degradation of ECM components. The expression and activity of MMPs in a variety of human cancers have been intensively studied. They play important roles at different steps of malignant t...

Molecular functions of metallothionein and its role in hematological malignancies

Metallothionein (MT) was reported to be a potential negative regulator of apoptosis, and various reports have suggested that it may play roles in carcinogenesis and drug resistance, in at least a portion of cancer cells. The author summarizes the current understanding of the molecular functions of MT for tumor cell growth and drug resistance. These activities are regulated through intracellular...

Surgical Roles for Spinal Involvement of Hematological Malignancies

OBJECTIVE Patients with hematological malignancies frequently encounter spine-related symptoms, which are caused by disease itself or process of treatment. However, there is still lack of knowledge on their epidemiology and clinical courses. The purpose of this article is to review clinical presentations and surgical results for spinal involvement of hematologic malignancies. METHODS From Jan...
